Emaar MGF enters Chennai residential mart

Emaar MGF, a joint venture of Emaar Properties of Dubai and MGF Development in Delhi, has entered the Chennai residential market by launching a 536-apartment project ‘Chennai Esplanade’ in north Chennai.

CHENNAI: Emaar MGF, a joint venture of Emaar Properties of Dubai and MGF Development in Delhi, has entered the Chennai residential market by launching a 536-apartment project ‘Chennai Esplanade’ in north Chennai.

It is the company’s first project in south India. So far, it has launched three projects in India - one in Punjab and two in Gurgaon.

“Chennai Esplanade is a reflection of our commitment to bring to the city heartland a residential development that integrates modern design, amenities and facilities with the old world charm of traditional community culture,” said Emaar MGF, residential/townships, CEO William R Rattazi on Monday.

Each residential apartment will be around 1,500 sq ft. Emaar has launched the project at an initial offer price of Rs 3,500 per sq ft.
