DLF plans to sell apartments on Snapdeal
“Digital marketing is fast emerging as the most cost-efficient option to reach out to potential customers," Ananta Singh Raghuvanshi.

The developer will sell mostly studio apartments and mid-segment apartments in the Rs 35-65 lakh range, a person familiar with the talks between the two companies said. He added that DLF will run a month-long scheme on Snapdeal and plans to offer discounts on apartment purchases in cities including Lucknow, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Chennai and Kochi.
The deal between the two companies comes close on the heels of Snapdeal’s similar agreements with Tata Value Homes, Godrej Properties and Kolte Patil Developers.
“Yes, we have entered into a partnership with DLF. We will be announcing a range of offerings from them which will be listed on Snapdeal shortly,” a Snapdeal spokesperson said in aresponse to ET’s query. According to DLF, such associations will help the Delhi-based company tap into the country’s burgeoning young population as well as the NRI market.
“Digital marketing is fast emerging as the most cost-efficient option to reach out to potential customers. Over a period of time, our customer segment is getting younger and younger,” said Ananta Singh Raghuvanshi, executive director for sales and marketing at DLF Universal. “They belong to the digital era. Therefore, from a distribution point of view, digital platforms are one of the important outlets.”
