Chennai realty company targets Jains, Marwaris for high-end project

CHENNAI: A realty developer in Chennai is eyeing buyers from the wealthy Jain and Marwari communities in the city for an upcoming high-end residential apartment project.

The developer, SPR & RG, is likely to commence the 38-unit project in June this year at Vepery, in Chennai, with each apartment costing at least Rs 6 crore.

The apartments will range between 3,000 sq ft and 3,500 sq ft in size. “This is not open for everyone. It is only by invitation. We have done some analysis and identified potential buyers,” said Sandeep Pantvaidya, a VP of the company.

This is the company’s third project in Chennai.
