Centre to teach art opened in Hyderabad

Global Art India (GAI), a division of Sociable Intellectual Progressive (SIP) Academy, on Tuesday opened its first centre in Hyderabad.

HYDERABAD: Global Art India (GAI), a division of Sociable Intellectual Progressive (SIP) Academy, on Tuesday opened its first centre in Hyderabad.
The GAI is an exponent in the area of teaching art to children and to nurture their mental potential through art.
"The aim is to provide a comprehensive, systematic and efficient programme, which will develop the artistic and creative potential of children," the managing director of SIP Dinesh Victor said in a statement here.
He said the programme offered by SIP was developed after years of research and testing and is of International standards.
"Unlike the regular art programmes, which only help a child improve his artistic capabilities, Global Art enhances observation and concentration, apart from imparting various drawing and colouring techniques using a variety of media in a phased manner," he asserted.
Explaining the programme in India, he said a foundation course for young children between ages of four and six years and basic course is for children of age group of seven to fifteen.
