Birla Sun Life enters into alliance with Angel Broking
Leading life insurance company Birla Sun Life Insurance (BSLI) has entered into an alliance with retail financial service provider Angel Broking for distribution of its products.

NEW DELHI: Leading life insurance company Birla Sun Life Insurance (BSLI) has entered into an alliance with retail financial service provider Angel Broking for distribution of its products.
Angel Broking, which currently employs over 2,200 employees and services more than three lakh retail customers through over 100 branches, would sell its insurance products, Birla Sun Life Insurance said in a statement.
"As a part of BSLI's expansion plans for the year, we intend strengthening our distribution arm through intermediaries," BSLI President and CEO Vikram Mehmi said.
BSLI has a market share of 4.81 per cent in the life insurance segment and commands 8 per cent business among private players.
