Bhopal Corporation acts against builders

BHOPAL: Bhopal Municipal Corporation has suspended the lay-out and building permissions granted to four builders/housing societies in the city for illegal constructions.

Official sources said here on Friday that these four builders were Raj Home Pvt Ltd, Indraprasth Cooperative Society, Vishnupuri Cooperative Housing Society, and Aanchal Cooperative Housing Society.

The registration licences of Indraprasth, Vishnupuri and Aanchal Society had also been cancelled, they said.

The three -- except Raj Home -- had also been served with show-cause notices, seeking replies within three days, failing which their layout permissions and building permissions could be cancelled.
