Bank strike and other holidays next week. Check if your bank branch is open

Next week, on Friday, March 27, two big unions in the banking sector, All India Bank Employees' Association (AIBEA) and All India Bank Officers Association (AIBOA) will go on strike. This strike has been called to oppose the mega bank mergers approved by the Union Cabinet.

Other than this, there are a couple of other days banks will be shut across various states in the country. Next Saturday will be a bank holiday since it is the fourth Saturday of the month.

In Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Manipur, March 25 (Wednesday) is a holiday on account of Gudhi Padwa/Ugadi Festival/Telugu New Year's Day/Sajibu Nongmapanba (Cheiraoba)/1st Navratra.
