Bajaj Allianz launches 'eTouch', its first online term plan

BENGALURU: Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance has launched its first online term plan, 'eTouch'. It has four variants: Shield, Shield Plus, Shield Super and Shield Supreme. It offers an in-built waiver of premium rider, applicable in the case of an accidental total permanent disability or critical illnesses, in its Shield Supreme variant. In essence, it is not necessary to separately buy an additional waiver of premium rider.

eTouch is the interweaving of both health and term insurance, as along with the life cover, you get the additional benefit on accidental death, accidental total permanent disability and 34 critical illnesses till the age of 75.

For a 30-year-old non-smoker male, a Rs 1 crore term plan for Shield variant costs Rs 6,976 per annum (excluding taxes), or Rs 19 per day for a 30-year term.

The company also launched 'B-Fit', a wellness platform mobile application to help users to set and track their fitness goals.
