Bajaj Allianz in pact with Mumbai Co-operative Bank

Private life insurer, Bajaj Allianz, today entered into an agreement with Mumbai District Central Co-operative Bank to provide life insurance solutions to customers across the state.

MUMBAI: Private life insurer, Bajaj Allianz, today entered into an agreement with Mumbai District Central Co-operative Bank to provide life insurance solutions to customers across the state.

Under the agreement, Bajaj Allianz, will offer insurance products through the latter's 43 branches and 25 extension counters, a press release issued here said.

"The tie-up will greatly improve our distribution strength and help provide insurance products to customers in urban and semi-urban regions," Bajaj Allianz's Head, Business Procurement, Yogesh Gupta, said in the statement.

The bank has 15,000 member-base, a total deposit-base of around Rs 2,209.49 crore while total advances of Rs 1,140.43 crore, the release said.

Bajaj Allianz Life has presence in 950 towns in the country and has already sold over 70 lakh policies, the company said.
