Asta Guru to host its tenth auction from August 20

KOLKATA: Asta Guru, an online auction house set up in 2008 by the chairman of SAFSET Group Vickram Sethi, will be hosting its tenth auction on Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st August 2013. The auction consists of 94 lots of exclusive works of art by Indian artists, and many masters including artworks by M.F.Husain, S.H.Raza, F.N.Souza, Ram Kumar, Anjoile Ela Menon, Shakti Burman, Krishen Khanna, Akbar Padamsee, Jogen Chowdhury, among others.

The bid for these works of arts starts at Rs 20,000 with no reserve price which means, you could get a S.H Raza or a Husain at any price.The lots of this auction can be seen at astaguru.com. Buyers who are interested in making a bid for the painting can fill up the registration form on AstaGuru website. For novices, a buyers' background check will be made and bank letters will be required in order to receive access to bid.

The auctioneer is expecting a fair deal of interest from collectors living in India and those abroad. In order to bid, one can view the terms and condition of the auction house, register online and request the auction house to activate bidding access. Once the screening process has taken place and the account is activated, the bidder can bid online on the 20th and 21st of August 2013.
