Sriram Finance revises FD rates up to 7.85%
Shriram Finance has also announced the continuation of additional interest benefits for senior citizens and women depositors, along with an extra benefit for customers renewing matured deposits.

Shriram Finance FD interest rates: What has changed?
Shriram Finance has increased interest rates on fixed deposits with tenures ranging from 12 months to 60 months. The biggest revised rate in the list is 7.85% per annum for deposits with tenures of 36 months to 60 months.The special 15-month digital-only deposit will now offer 7.5% per annum, up from 7.1%. Deposits with tenures of 24 months to 35 months will also earn 7.5%, compared with the earlier rate of 7.1%.

Senior citizens to get additional interest on Shriram Finance FDs
Senior citizens aged 60 years or above at the time of making or renewing a deposit will receive an additional 0.50 percentage point interest per annum.Women depositors will be eligible for an additional 0.05 percentage point interest per annum. Customers renewing matured deposits will receive an additional 0.15 percentage point interest per annum.
At these rates, investors in these categories will earn additional interest.
What should depositors check before investing?
As per the bank press release, “The Fixed Deposits are rated "CRISIL AAA/Stable" by CRISIL Ratings, "[ICRA]AAA (Stable)" by ICRA, "IND AAA/Stable" by India Ratings and Research, and "CARE AAA/Stable" by CARE Ratings.”Investors should also review the deposit terms, premature withdrawal conditions and tax implications before investing their money in the FDs.
