In 2025, Mexico and Brazil outperformed global equity markets, drawing the interest of foreign investors to diversify beyond traditional geographies. Mexico’s surge was driven by robust corporate earnings and macroeconomic stability, while Brazil’s Bovespa index gained pace due to selective sector strength, particularly in utilities and commodities.
Although India’s equity benchmark underperformed in 2025, it remains the second-best performing index over the past decade, highlighting its long-term resilience and enduring investor appeal. Meanwhile, Germany’s engineering prowess and solid economic fundamentals have strongly supported the long-term performance of the DAX index.
