IPO investment in HNI category: 5 things to know

The minimum IPO application amount for HNIs is Rs 2 lakh.

1.The High Net-Worth Individual category is a part of the Non-Institutional Investor Category with a 15% reservation of IPO shares.
2.An HNI is an investor who has total investable assets over Rs.2 crore.
3.The minimum IPO application amount for HNIs is Rs.2 lakh.
4.Bidding at the cut-off price is not permitted for HNIs. They must subscribe at the highest bid price.
5.One can apply either as a retail investor or HNI investor, but not both.
