IDBI Bank Utsav FD deadline extended: Invest now to earn up to 7.25% interest

IDBI Bank has revised interest rates across key fixed deposit products, including regular fixed deposits (FDs), and the special Utsav Fixed Deposit scheme. The updated rates come into effect from June 12, 2025.

IDBI’s Utsav Callable FD tenures of 444, 555, and 700 days offers high interest rates, and the deadline to invest has been extended from June 30, 2025 to September 30, 2025. Here are the interest rates

444 days: 6.85% (general/NRE/NRO), 7.35% (senior citizens)
555 days: 6.90% (general/NRE/NRO), 7.40% (senior citizens)
700 days: 6.75% (general/NRE/NRO), 7.25% (senior citizens)

IDBI Bank has also revised interest rates on regular term deposit for deposits less than Rs 3 crore. After revision, the bank offers FD interest rate between 3% and 6.7% (excluding special deposits) for general citizens for FDs tenured between 7 days to less than 3 years. For senior citizens, the bank offers between 3.50% and 7.20% on FDs with tenures between 7 days and less than 3 years.

IDBI’s Suvidha Tax Saving Fixed Deposits, which have a tenure of 5 years, offer 6.25% interest to general citizens, and 6.75% interest to senior citizens, with effect from June 12, 2025.

IDBI Chiranjeevi-Super Senior Citizen FD is exclusively for resident individuals aged 80 years. For super senior citizens investing in this FD with a tenure of 444 days, the interest rate offered is 7.50% per annum. Interest rate for the 555-day deposit can earn a return at 7.55%, while the 700-day deposit offers an interest rate of 7.40% per annum.
