Gold prices fell further today (Tuesday, September 29, 2026) at leading jewellery brands such as Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Kalyan Jewellers and Joyalukkas. While Tanishq is yet to update its latest gold rates today, the India Bullion and Jewellers Association Ltd (IBJA) is also yet to display its daily indicative prices for 14k, 18k, 20k, 22k and 24k gold jewellery and 999-purity silver.

Gold outlook

Prithviraj Kothari, Managing Director at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., President of IBJA says "Gold and silver are trading near seven-week lows as markets price in a growing chance that the Federal Reserve keeps rates higher for longer. CME FedWatch shows a 72.5% probability of an October hike, up from 57.6% last week, while elevated oil prices and seven months of US–Iran conflict keep inflation and yield worries alive. A busy US data calendar, including consumer confidence, job openings, ADP, PCE and nonfarm payrolls, could shape the next move. Technically, spot gold has broken $4250 support with $4100 and $4000 in sight, while silver has broken its $62.5 head-and-shoulders neckline, targeting $60 and $57."
