Prithviraj Kothari, managing director at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., President of the IBJA, says, “Gold and silver ticked higher, supported by a softer dollar as traders awaited key U.S. inflation data likely to influence the Fed's rate path. Fiscal concerns continue to weigh on confidence in U.S. government debt, adding a floor under gold. Geopolitical risk stayed elevated after Iran vowed to resist the U.S. naval blockade and threatened retaliation for continued strikes, while Trump suggested the conflict could persist past the November midterms. With PPI due Thursday and CPI Friday, a hot print could pressure gold further; a soft one could open room toward $4,400. Gold looks set to trade in a $4,300 (Rs 150,000) to $4,500 (Rs 157,000) band, favouring a buy-the-dip, sell-the-rally approach for now. Silver has more room to run — a hold above $67 (Rs 243,000) opens the path toward $70 (Rs 247,000).”
