Gold and silver prices rose across purity grades today (Thursday, November 5, 2026) as leading jewellery brands such as Tanishq, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Kalyan Jewellers and Joyalukkas, and the IBJA updated their daily rates.

Silver price

Silver prices also recorded an increase on November 5, 2026. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association’s (IBJA) indicative retail selling rates, the price of 999-purity silver rose by Rs 1,749 per kg to Rs 1,87,882 in the morning session, compared with Rs 1,86,133 in Wednesday’s evening session. This marks a rise of nearly 0.94% in a single session.

Gold- Silver outlook

Prithviraj Kothari, Managing Director at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., President of IBJA says, "Gold and silver rebounded sharply with gold back above $4100 and silver above $52, adding over $1 trillion in combined market capitalization. The Democrats’ win in both houses of Congress pushed the dollar to a five-week low and the 10-year yield to about 4.88%, while oil fell nearly 9% as US–Iran tensions eased. Strong ADP data and the fastest wage growth since March 2024 keep the Fed hawkish, with CME FedWatch pricing about a 78% chance of a December hike. Gold eyes $4200 (~Rs 150,000); silver now targets $55 (~Rs 197,000)."
