Gold prices extended their downward trend today (Thursday, June 25, 2026), with several leading jewellery brands reporting lower rates compared to the previous day (Wednesday). Gold buyers planning to purchase jewellery may find some relief as prices have softened after recent highs. Here is a look at the latest 24K, 22K, 20K and 18K gold jewellery rates at major jewellery brands such as Joyalukkas, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Tanishq and Kalyan Jewellers.

Mr. Prithviraj Kothari, managing director at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., president of IBJA says, "Gold and silver are extending losses despite a US-Iran ceasefire, overwhelmed by three converging pressures: an AI-stock-led risk-off selloff, a hawkish Fed pushing December 2026 rate hike odds to 86%, and yen carry trade unwinding as USDJPY hits a 40-year low. September hike probability has surged from 29% to 68% in a week, driving the dollar to 13-month highs. Thursday's PCE data remains the next key catalyst. Technically, gold has broken $4,000 support (~ Rs 1,40,000), with downside risk to $3,600 (~ Rs 1,30,000), while silver has broken $60 (~ Rs 2,20,000), eyeing $50 (~ Rs 2,00,000). Oversold readings suggest short-covering bounces are possible near term.
