Gold and silver prices moved higher today (Friday, June 12, 2026) across leading Indian jewellery brands and IBJA, after rebounding from Thursday’s lows. According to bullion market experts, easing concerns over inflation and hopes of geopolitical stability helped support precious metal prices. The latest rates released by the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA) also show a sharp jump in both gold and silver prices compared to the previous session.

Prithviraj Kothari, managing director at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., president, IBJA, says, “Gold and silver rebounded sharply after touching January lows as optimism over an imminent US-Iran peace deal eased inflation and rate-hike concerns. Hopes of normalcy returning across the Strait of Hormuz sank oil prices, pressuring the US dollar. US President Trump said a deal could be signed this weekend, though Iran has not confirmed the agreement. Meanwhile, the ECB hiked rates for the first time since 2023, and US producer prices rose 6.5% year-on-year in May, reinforcing Fed rate-hike expectations. Technically, gold's oversold bounce from $4,000–4,100 support targets $4,300–4,330 (Rs 155,000); silver's rebound from $61 targets $70–71 (Rs 255,000).”
