Gold jewellery prices decreased today (Wednesday, October 21, 2026) at leading brands such as Joyalukkas, Malabar Gold & Diamonds Kalyan Jewellers. The 22k gold price at Tanishq remained unchanged.Gold and silver indicative jewellery prices at the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA) declined today.

Gold outlook

Prithviraj Kothari, Managing Director at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., President of IBJA says "Gold and silver remain under pressure as rising oil prices revive inflation concerns ahead of the Federal Reserve’s October 27-28 meeting. Tanker attacks in the Strait of Hormuz and tensions in the Middle East and Eastern Europe have deepened supply fears. CME’s FedWatch Tool shows just a 16% chance of an October hike but 90% for December. Gold is holding its $4,080–$4,200 support zone; sustaining above $4,200 could lift it towards $4,400, while a break lower targets $3,950. Silver sits near $57 support, with $54–55.50 as the next downside target and a move above $59 opening the way to $62."
