Gold prices dipped across major jewellery brands today (Thursday, October 15, 2026) as Joyalukkas, Malabar Gold & Diamonds and Kalyan Jewellers posted lower 22k gold jewellery rates. The India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA) also showed a downward trend in today’s gold and silver jewellery indicative rates.

Gold outlook

Mr. Prithviraj Kothari, Managing Director at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., President of IBJA says, "Gold and silver fell sharply after US inflation came in hotter than expected. September CPI rose to 3.7%, above the 3.6% forecast, and that lifted bets on a Fed rate hike. CME FedWatch now shows about a 25% chance of a hike this month and a 65% probability in December. Geopolitical risk is still high, with a ship sunk in the Strait of Hormuz, Houthi strikes on Saudi Arabia and Russia–Ukraine refinery attacks. On the charts, gold has bounced off $4080, so dips look like buying chances. Silver is holding near $55–56 support, and short-covering could take it towards $58.50."
