Gold prices on leading Indian jewellery brands and India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA) dipped today (Friday, June 5, 2026) as market sentiment improved after US President Donald Trump indicated that meaningful progress with Iran could emerge as early as this weekend. Iranian officials also confirmed that communication channels with the US remain open.

Prithviraj Kothari, Managing Director at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., President of IBJA says, "Gold slipped below $4,450, heading for a weekly loss exceeding 2%, as Middle East conflict sustained elevated oil prices, reinforcing inflation fears and Fed tightening expectations. US-Iran peace talks showed no substantive progress, with Iranian FM Araghchi contradicting Trump's optimism, while Hezbollah's rejection of a US-brokered ceasefire deepened regional uncertainty. May payrolls data remained in focus as labor market resilience kept year-end rate hike bets alive. Technically, Gold consolidates between $4,400–$4,600 and Silver within $71.00–$78.50; a buy-on-dips, sell-into-rallies approach is recommended across both metals."

As of June 5, 2026, Kalyan Jewellers’ price for 22k gold jewellery is 14,275 per gram across New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Thiruvananthapuram, Coimbatore and Bengaluru. On June 4, 2026, the 22k gold rate at the same brand was Rs 14,310.
