These "Bima Sakhis" are provided with special training, financial incentives, and promotional support to help them succeed.

Who can apply for LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana?
To be eligible, the applicant must have completed a minimum age of 18 years as on the date of application. The maximum entry age allowed is 70 years, based on the last birthday. In terms of education, the applicant should have at least passed the 10th standard.

How much can you earn in LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana?
Under the LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana, selected women agents are eligible to receive a monthly stipend during the initial three years, based on their performance. In the first year, a fixed stipend of Rs 7,000 per month is provided. In the second year, Rs 6,000 will be offered (or paid) which will be subject to at least 65% of policies completed in the first stipendiary year. In third year, Rs 5,000 will be offered which is subject to at least 65% of policies completed in the second stipendiary year.

Who cannot apply for LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana?
Individuals related to current LIC agents or employees are ineligible. Relatives include spouse, children (biological, adopted, step, dependent or not), parents, siblings, and immediate in-laws. Retired Corporation employees and former agents are not eligible for reappointment under the scheme. Existing agents cannot apply for this recruitment.
