Non verbal reasons for rejection
Of these 60% say they were rejected because of non-verbal reasons, reveals a TimesJobs study.
* 32% reached the venue late.
* 40% seemed disinterested during interview.
* 10% had weak handshake and bad sitting posture.
* 30% made no eye contact with recruiter.
* 25% weren’t dressed properly.

Verbal reasons for rejection
40% were rejected due to what they said during interview:
* 15% badmouthing previous employer.
* 25% lack of knowledge about company.
* 40% fumbling for an answer.
* 30% talked too much and it backfired.
