Vote of thanks by Gautam Singhania, CMD, Raymond

Honorable Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh, other eminent speakers, jury members, winners and distinguished guests. Thank you for gracing this occasion and being with us on this special evening to commemorate corporate excellence.

The importance of these land-mark awards is underlined by the presence of no less than the Prime Minister himself, who has made it a point to be at this forum despite the pressures on his time.

We all owe a debt of gratitude to Dr. Manmohan Singh for his astute leadership, in these very trying times. I personally look up to him and admire him for being truly the Complete Man which we all aspire to be.

On behalf of Raymond, I would like to congratulate the winners of the Economic Times Awards for displaying creativity, dynamism and enterprise, which has made each one of them a role model for others to follow. I am sure all of you will agree that we need many more such winners to take the India story forward.

Since its inception, The Economic Times Awards have honoured the best and the brightest; these awards continue to symbolize Excellence, Trust, Quality and Leadership ��� core values that Raymond pursues in all its businesses. It is a privilege for Raymond to be associated with such an appropriate and illustrious event, throughout 10 years of its journey so far.
