WWE releases 2026: List of cuts after WrestleMania 42 includes Kairi Sane, Bo Dallas, Wyatt Sicks, Aleister Black and more

In a post-WrestleMania 42 shake-up, WWE has reportedly made a major round of roster cuts, with several big names released from the company on Friday, April 24. Among the most shocking names are Kairi Sane, Uncle Howdy (Bo Dallas), members of the Wyatt Sicks, Aleister Black, Zelina Vega, Zoey Stark, and Alba Fyre.

The latest WWE releases 2026 reported by professional wrestling journalist Sean Ross Sapp, have left fans stunned, especially as some of the stars were actively involved in ongoing storylines.

Kairi Sane released in major WWE cuts 2026

Kairi Sane has reportedly been released by WWE, making her one of the biggest surprises in the latest WWE cuts. Her departure comes shortly after reports that Aleister Black and Zelina Vega were also let go.

Sane had recently been working alongside Asuka, and the duo seemed set for a larger storyline direction. Asuka, however, is still with WWE as of now.

Uncle Howdy, Bo Dallas and Wyatt Sicks released

Another major shock came with reports that Uncle Howdy, also known as Bo Dallas, and the Wyatt Sicks have also left WWE.

The faction, which debuted in 2024 following the death of Bo Dallas’ real-life brother Bray Wyatt, served partly as a tribute to the late WWE champion. The Wyatt Sicks included Uncle Howdy, Nikki Cross, Joe Gacy, Erick Rowan, and Dexter Lumis.

The group had recently been involved in the tag team title picture, with Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis defending the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Nikki Cross reacts after WWE release

Following her departure, Nikki Cross shared an emotional message on social media thanking WWE and everyone behind the scenes.

"Goodbye and thank you, WWE," Cross wrote on social media. "I'm really excited for whatever my next chapter will hold. Thank you all for the continued love and support. A special thank you to Robbie Brookside and William Regal for helping this dream come true. Thank you to the wrestlers, coaches, producers, and all the backstage crew who make all this possible. To the amazing girls in the locker room."
