Our hearts are with the Culpepper family & all those who loved him," Syracuse paid a touching tribute to Rex in a statement.
According to Yahoo, Culpepper starred at Plant High School in Florida before joining Syracuse. As a quarterback, he completed 152 of 248 passes for 2,145 yards and 21 touchdowns.
