Blades, who is an Olympic silver medal winner, gave a slight glimpse of her preparations to Abby ahead of her battle against Milana Dudieva during the wrestling event on Saturday evening (March 28, 2026) with her signature move, known as a suplex.
Abby was fully on board with the experience, though she admitted she felt "nervous" before Blades pulled off the move. She shared the video on X in which the professional wrestler is seen lifting Abby up and then flipping the journalist over her shoulder, slamming her face-first to the floor.
Luck was on Abby’s side that there was a mat to break her fall, or else she could have sustained a serious injury. She was not hurt at all and was also quick enough to jump to her feet and give a high five to Blades with a smile on her face. “Got suplexed by an Olympian today, so that was cool,” Abby captioned the post on X.
