Six Ubisoft games canceled
Of the six Ubisoft games canceled, only Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time has been publicly named. Three of the canceled projects were new IPs, while another was a mobile game. Ubisoft’s renewed focus will prioritize open-world titles and live-service experiences, signaling a major shift in the company’s strategic direction.
Seven Ubisoft games delayed
Ubinox’s restructure also affects seven other Ubisoft games, including an unannounced title originally slated for release. Multiple gaming outlets expected it to be the Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag remaster. These games are now scheduled to launch in the next financial year, 2027.

Ubisoft games launches five ‘Creative Houses’
The company is restructuring around five “Creative Houses,” each focused on a distinct creative genre and responsible for both development and market strategy. These include:
- CH1 – Vantage Studios: Scaling established franchises like Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, and Rainbow Six.
- CH2: Competitive and cooperative shooters, including The Division, Ghost Recon, and Splinter Cell.
- CH3: Live experiences like For Honor, The Crew, Riders Republic, Brawlhalla, and Skull & Bones.
- CH4: Immersive fantasy worlds and narrative-driven universes, including Anno, Might & Magic, Rayman, Prince of Persia, and Beyond Good & Evil.
- CH5: Casual and family-friendly games like Just Dance, Idle Miner Tycoon, Ketchapp, Hungry Shark, and Uno.
