Grammy Award-winning singer Coco Jones took center stage to perform 'Lift Every Voice and Sing', a song widely known as the Black national anthem. Dressed in an elegant all-white gown accented with red, black, green, and blue sequin details, Jones delivered a moving and soulful rendition backed by a live string ensemble. Her performance resonated throughout the stadium and marked one of the most meaningful moments of the pregame show.



'Lift Every Voice and Sing' was first written as a poem in 1900 by civil rights leader and NAACP figure James Weldon Johnson. The NFL officially added the hymn to its Super Bowl pregame lineup in 2021, and it has since been performed annually. Last year’s version was sung by Ledisi, continuing the league’s commitment to honoring the song’s legacy.


The musical celebration began with Charlie Puth performing the US national anthem alongside acclaimed deaf music artist Fred Beam. Brandi Carlile followed with a stirring rendition of 'America the Beautiful'.
