Simone Biles stole the show at Levi’s Stadium during Sunday’s Chicago Bears-San Francisco 49ers matchup, but not in the way fans expected. The gymnastics superstar made a surprise appearance as a photographer, capturing game-day moments from the field. Known for her record-breaking achievements in gymnastics, Biles brought her signature energy and charm to the NFL event, delighting fans and players alike. Social media quickly buzzed with clips and photos of the 11-time Olympic medalist in action, showing a different side of her athletic talent. Her unexpected role highlighted her versatility and charisma, turning a regular football game into a memorable, star-studded occasion.

The 49ers have surged into contention with a five-game winning streak, holding an 11-4 record heading into Week 17. The Bears have mirrored that late-season form, winning seven of their last eight games to also reach 11-4. Amid the action, Biles took on an unexpected role, donning an NFL media vest and carrying a camera to snap photos. Calling it 'just a little side gig', she mingled on the field pregame, even sharing a hug with Olivia Culpo, the wife of 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey.

For Biles, the timing of her appearance amplified the attention. The Bears came into the matchup having already secured the NFC North title, giving the game a high-stakes, playoff-like atmosphere. The NFL’s official Instagram posted a short video of Biles introducing herself and describing her role for the game, officially confirming that the gymnastics star was working the event.

Biles' husband, Jonathan Owens, is a safety for Chicago. While Owens warmed up, Biles captured photos of her husband before revealing her media number - 36 - the same as Owens’. According to ESPN, Biles had never been seen working as a credentialed photographer before Sunday night, though she frequently attends Chicago games. She and Owens were married in April 2023.

Biles is widely regarded as one of the greatest gymnasts of all time. Born on March 14, 1997, in Columbus, Ohio, she has won a record 41 Olympic and World Championship medals, including 11 Olympic medals, seven of them gold. Known for her extraordinary athleticism, power, and innovative routines, Biles has pushed the boundaries of gymnastics, performing moves that no one else has attempted in competition.
