The incident occurred midway through Sunday’s (December 28) game as tensions flared between Giants cornerback Rico Payton and Raiders defensive back Chigozie Anusiem. The confrontation spilled toward the Giants’ sideline, with video footage later showing Payton appearing to step toward Anusiem’s head before teammates intervened.
