'Have fun': Atlanta Falcons WR Drake London reveals fiancee Sofia Gabay's advice before stellar performance against Green Bay Packers

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver (WR) Drake London had a career day on Thursday night as his team registered a dominant win over Green Bay Packers, with the final score at 35-14. London secured nine of 10 targets for 194 yards during the match in Green Bay, Wisconsin. In a post-game live show, London credited his fiancee Sofia Rose Gabay's simple advice for his stellar performance.

Speaking on Prime Video's TNF Nightcap show, London said: "My fiancee told me just to go out there and have fun today, just have a smile on my face."

Drake London's NFL career

Drake London was selected eighth overall by the Atlanta Falcons in the first round of the NFL Draft in 2022, becoming the first wide receiver to be selected that season. Through his NFL career so far (including the ongoing 2026 season), London has played a total of 64 games. The 25-year-old has recorded 62 starts, 315 receptions, 4,041 receiving yards, and 22 receiving TDs.


In the rookie season, London, aged 21 years at the time, became the youngest Falcons player ever to record more than 70 catches in a season. Drake London's breakout season came in 2024, when he recorded 100 receptions and 9 TDs in a total of 17 games.

He is the fastest Falcon to reach 3,000 receiving yards behind only Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley. Earlier this year, London signed a four-year, $141 million extension with the Atlanta Falcons, which runs through the 2030 season.

London got engaged in July

London is engaged to Sofia Rose Gabay. The couple had announced their engagement by sharing pictures from a romantic proposal in a post on Instagram in July. In the caption, Gabay revealed the date when London proposed: "7/2/2026."

Interestingly, July 2 also marked the third anniversary of when the couple made their relationship official after first connecting on social media, according to a TikTok post shared by Gabay.
