The Denver Broncos booked their place in the AFC Championship with a dramatic 33–30 overtime win over the Buffalo Bills, sealed by a Wil Lutz field goal and accompanied by a viral trolling moment involving Bills quarterback Josh Allen and his wife, actress Hailee Steinfeld. The resurfaced image of Hailee Steinfeld in Broncos gear quickly caught fans’ attention, putting the spotlight on Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld off the field as much as the action on it.

The playoff clash at Mile High Stadium lived up to expectations on the field. Denver raced to a comfortable early lead before Allen mounted another trademark comeback, leading a late drive to force overtime. The drama escalated in the extra period as Allen appeared poised to deliver a winning drive, only for a costly interception to swing momentum. Rookie quarterback Bo Nix then did just enough to move the Broncos into field-goal range, where Lutz calmly converted to clinch the victory.

Josh Allen’s wife Hailee Steinfeld trolled for a 10-year-old photo

As if the on-field result was not enough, the Broncos also found a way to needle the Bills’ star quarterback off the field. Denver fans revived a decade-old photo of Allen’s wife, actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld, wearing a Broncos jacket even before celebrating Denver’s Super Bowl 50 victory over the Carolina Panthers 10 years ago. Though Steinfeld has long been inactive on X, the image resurfaced online ahead of the playoff matchup and quickly went viral among Broncos supporters.

One fan brought a sign featuring the photo to the stadium, and the Broncos amplified the moment by flashing it on the jumbotron, turning it into a full-blown troll aimed at the visiting quarterback.

While asked about the resurfaced image by CBS Sports’ Tracy Wolfson, Allen said he had no idea it was circulating, adding that his wife was probably 'paid' to attend the Super Bowl 50 game, laughing off the attention. Denver, however, made sure the moment lingered.


Allen and Steinfeld were married in June 2025 and announced in December 2025 that they are expecting their first child together.
