New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart celebrates his touchdown during the first half of an NFL game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Jaxson Dart powered the New York Giants to a convincing 34-10 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, as two of the NFL’s worst teams met amid long losing streaks. Dart threw for 207 yards and rushed for two touchdowns, while Devin Singletary added a first-quarter rushing score to help New York snap a nine-game skid. The Giants (3-13) controlled the game early and never looked back, earning their first victory since a Week 6 upset of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Las Vegas, which recently placed Brock Bowers and Maxx Crosby on injured reserve, has now lost 10 straight games for the second straight season and matched a franchise record for losses. With one home game left against Kansas City, the Raiders hold an 80% chance to secure the No. 1 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.

Singletary opened the scoring with a 1-yard touchdown run on the final play of the first quarter. Dart then took over, rushing for a 12-yard touchdown in the second quarter and later adding a 2-yard score in the fourth. He finished with 48 rushing yards on nine carries. New York also got a huge special teams boost when Deonte Banks returned a kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown late in the third quarter, immediately answering the Raiders’ lone touchdown and effectively putting the game away.

Las Vegas (2-14) struggled again as Geno Smith threw for 176 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. Smith completed 20 of 28 passes but was intercepted for the second time early in the fourth quarter and suffered an ankle injury on the play, forcing him out of the game. Kenny Pickett took over at quarterback for the Raiders. Smith’s two interceptions gave him an NFL-leading 17 on the season.

The Raiders’ only touchdown came late in the third quarter on a 4-yard pass from Smith to Tyler Lockett. Earlier, Daniel Carlson supplied a 42-yard field goal.
