"I have to do what is best for me and my future. After much thought and prayer, I will be entering the transfer portal," Williams wrote on Instagram while announcing his decision.
This marks the first year of the NCAA’s single transfer portal window for FBS players, which runs from January 2 to January 16. According to ESPN, Williams will have a do-not-contact tag on his portal entry, meaning other programs may only reach out if he initiates contact first.
