Chelsea Green on Alba Fyre’s WWE departure: 'This is just the beginning for my girl'

Following reports of Alba Fyre’s departure from WWE, fellow superstar Chelsea Green has confirmed the news and publicly shown her support, praising her longtime teammate and reminding fans of just how much talent they may not have seen on television.

For nearly a year on WWE programming, Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre were aligned as part of the ‘Secret Hervice’ faction alongside Piper Niven on WWE SmackDown.

Alba Fyre was among several WWE departures announced on April 24, 2026, as part of the latest round of roster cuts that followed WrestleMania 42. Her release came as a surprise to many fans, especially given her recent television presence.

Chelsea Green praises Alba Fyre after WWE exit

Taking to X, Chelsea Green addressed Fyre’s departure and shared an emotional message, saying fans had only seen a small part of what the former champion could truly do inside the ring.

“You guys didn’t get to see how talented KLR is. I know you saw bits & pieces, but trust me, there’s so much more to her. She’s a fearless wrestler… I’m sad to not have her on my side but this is just the beginning for my girl. Thank you for having my back, Slaygent A. Love you!”


Wrestling fans also showed their support for her, many of whom agreed that Alba Fyre’s full potential was never fully showcased on the main roster.

Fyre also responded with a playful post of her own, referencing her former in-ring persona from WWE NXT.

“Kay Lee Ray would batter Alba Fyre. Just saying….”


Before becoming Alba Fyre on the main roster, she performed under the name Kay Lee Ray during her run in NXT and was widely praised for her work in the brand’s women’s division. Her departure adds to the growing list of WWE releases in 2026, with several major names reportedly exiting the company after WrestleMania 42.
