According to the Bay County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) in Florida, Joseph Duggar, 31, has been arrested and charged with lewd and lascivious behavior involving a minor. Authorities said investigators were contacted on March 18 by a detective in Tontitown, Arkansas, after a now 14-year-old alleged victim came forward.

The allegations stem from a 2020 family vacation in Panama City Beach, when the girl was 9 years old. The victim claimed Duggar “repeatedly asked her to sit on his lap” and inappropriately touched her.
