According to police, his 4-year-old daughter began drowning in the pool, became unconscious, started foaming at the mouth, and eventually needed CPR from someone at the pool, TMZ reported, citing a police report obtained.
Authorities also said that his 6-year-old son swallowed water and also needed medical attention after attempting to save his sister. According to the report, 38-year-old Alfred was MIA for around 6 minutes after someone called 911, and when he showed up, he was holding an alcoholic beverage.
Police said Alfred told officers he left his two children alone at a hot tub to go to a bar to get alcohol, claiming he was gone for only five minutes, TMZ reported. Authorities added that he smelled strongly of alcohol, and a bar receipt allegedly showed he purchased two cocktails; he was subsequently booked into the Monroe County Jail.
