Who is Daleza Fregoso? Amber Alert issued for 4-year-old child abducted from Los Angeles

The California Highway Patrol issued an Amber Alert for a 4-year-old girl who was allegedly abducted from the Los Angeles area early Sunday morning. The alert was released on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department as authorities intensified efforts to locate the child and the suspect connected to the case. According to investigators, Daleza Fregoso was last seen around 4 AM on May 24. Police described the child as approximately 3 feet tall, weighing about 45 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

"Daleza Fregoso was abducted by Ruben Fregoso and they are believed to be in a white 2019 Land Rover Discovery," the alert said.



Authorities also identified a suspect, Ruben Fregoso, who is described as being 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing around 200 pounds. He reportedly has black hair and brown eyes. Investigators said the pair may be traveling in a Land Rover bearing California license plate number 9DAW716.

According to the California Highway Patrol’s latest update, the vehicle has been located, but the suspect and the victim remain missing.


Officials have not immediately disclosed the relationship between Ruben Fregoso and the missing child, and further details surrounding the alleged abduction have not yet been released.

The CHP urged the public to remain alert and contact emergency services immediately if they spot the individual. Anyone with information regarding their whereabouts has been asked to call 911 as authorities continue their investigation and search efforts across the region.
