About Air Force One
Air Force One is the official aircraft used by the President of the United States, symbolizing national power, security, and mobility. From Presidents Roosevelt to Trump, Boeing airplanes have transported U.S. leaders around the world. The U.S. Air Force has confirmed that this legacy will continue with the 747-8, which will replace the two 747-200s currently in service. When the 747-8 takes flight as the next Air Force One, it will mark more than half a century of Boeing aircraft supporting presidential travel through the Jet Age.
