WATCH: Security beefed up near Seattle’s iconic Space Needle after shooting leaves multiple people injured; video goes viral

Seattle Shooting Viral Video: Multiple people were left wounded after a shooting on Sunday evening (July 26, 2026) at an events complex near Seattle’s Space Needle, police said in a statement. The incident happened just after 6 p.m., when Seattle Police Department officers arrived and cleared the area, according to KIRO Newsradio 97.3 FM.

Victims were taken to Harborview Medical Center, but the number and severity of their injuries were not released at the time of reporting. Authorities confirmed they were investigating the shooting and urged the public to avoid the area.




Several videos surfaced on social media apparently filmed from the incident site outside the Seattle Center complex. Numerous police vehicles were seen parked along the roadside with their emergency lights flashing.



The Seattle Center was hosting the Bite of Seattle food festival over the weekend, an annual event that began in 1982 and typically draws about 350,000 attendees over “three days of food, drink, and community celebration,” according to its website.
