Trump’s previous visit to Walter Reed
Trump, 79 was indeed at the Walter Reed hospital in October last year when he underwent what he described as a "semi-annual physical checkup." During an Oct. 9 bilateral meeting in the Oval Office with Alexander Stubb, he addressed the visit when asked if he was going to visit the hospital the next day.
"I'm meeting with the troops, and I'm also going to do a sort of semi-annual physical, which I do," Trump said. "I think I'm in great shape, but I'll let you know. I've had no difficulty thus far. Is there wood around here? Knock on wood. No difficulty. Physically, I feel very good. Mentally, I feel very good."

How the Trump hospitalization rumor spread
X account with mass followers also claimed and posted the news.
After the rumor went on considerably big, White House Director of Communications Steven Cheung posted on X explaining the president’s schedule.
“There has never been a President who has worked harder for the American people than President Trump,” Cheung wrote at about 3 p.m. “On this Easter weekend, he has been working nonstop in the White House and Oval Office. “God Bless him.”
White House response to Trump hospitalisation rumor
The White House also addressed the speculation through its Rapid Response 47 account, criticizing those spreading the claims.
“Deranged liberals cook up insane conspiracy theories when @POTUS goes 12 hours without speaking to press. (They said nothing when Biden routinely went 12 days without speaking to press),” the post read.
Trump’s annual physical at Walter Reed
According to a memo from the president’s physician, Sean Barbabella, Trump later underwent his “annual physical examination” at Walter Reed on April 11. The Guardian reported that Trump was deemed "fully fit to execute the duties" of the presidency.
Previous health updates On Trump’s health from the White House
However, concern around the US president's health is not a new thing. In 2025, the White House shared details about Trump’s health after visible symptoms prompted speculation. Press secretary Karoline Leavitt provided an update on July 17, noting that tests linked to hand bruising and swelling in his lower legs pointed to a common vascular condition but did not reveal more serious issues.
