As the investigation continues, the Guthrie family, who offered a reward of around $1 million for any piece of information on Nancy, is facing a difficult time with Savannah, who returned to the “Today" show on April 6, 2026, after a two-month hiatus, trying to juggle between her personal and professional life.
With Mother’s Day approaching, the period has become especially heartbreaking for the Guthrie family, as hopes of her safe return continue to fade. Mother’s Day falls on Sunday, May 10, and ahead of the holiday, someone left a message outside of Nancy Guthrie’s home.
On Friday, May 8, Michael Ruiz of Fox News shared an update at the crime scene. “Someone placed this Mother’s Day message outside Nancy Guthrie’s home, addressed to her abductor,” he stated on X. Then, he shared the message: “Your mom would be ashamed if she knew what you did. So before you take her flowers on Mother’s Day, TAKE NANCY HOME, or tell the family where she is so they can celebrate on Mothers Day, do the right thing.”
