Mandela spent part of his childhood in Qunu, where he attended primary school. In 1941, Mandela moved to Johannesburg, where he worked while continuing his studies and became increasingly involved in political activism. During this time, he met influential figures such as Walter Sisulu, who helped introduce him to networks that shaped his political journey.

Over the decades, Mandela became a central figure in the fight against apartheid, advocating for equality and justice in South Africa. His leadership and sacrifices made him a global icon of resilience and reconciliation.

Mandela died on December 5, 2013, but his legacy of courage, leadership, and hope continues to inspire people around the world.
