Stefanie Pieper Death Case: Fresh details have emerged in the alleged murder case of social media influencer Stefanie Pieper, whose body was found stuffed in a suitcase. The 31-year-old was allegedly murdered by her ex-boyfriend Patrick M. after returning home from a Christmas party on November 23, 2025.

Pieper's boyfriend is accused of strangling her before stuffing her into a suitcase and burying her in a forest near the Austrian-Slovenian border. Police have now claimed that she may have been alive when she was allegedly locked inside the bag, according to German tabloid newspaper BILD.

The woman influencer from Styria (Austria) vanished on November 23, 2025. She was reported missing by a colleague when she didn’t show up to a scheduled photoshoot, the Styrian Police Department previously shared in a press release, as reported by PEOPLE.


After receiving information about Pieper’s whereabouts from her ex-boyfriend, who was arrested on November 24 and was in police custody as a suspect in the missing persons case, Slovenian authorities located Pieper a few days later, according to the release.

The influencer was found dead, and her body was concealed in a suitcase and buried in a forest in Slovenia. The 31-year-old Patrick confessed to the crime. Autopsy findings have raised a suspicion that the young woman may have still been alive when she was placed inside the suitcase and buried in the woods.

A recent expert report suggests that forensic pathologists believe the influencer died as a result of massive violence to her neck, specifically strangulation, BILD reported.

According to the German tabloid newspaper, they also found severe facial injuries, which could possibly have been caused by punches or by movement during transport in the suitcase. The exact time of Pieper’s death remains unclear.

Speaking to BILD, a spokesperson for the Graz Public Prosecutor’s Office said, “The autopsy could not definitively determine when the young woman died. “It is quite possible that she was still alive when she was placed in the suitcase. “However, it is equally possible that she was killed by strangulation beforehand.”

After being arrested in Slovenia, her ex-boyfriend Patrick was extradited to Austria and is now being held in a pretrial detention center. The case is set to go before the courts later this year.
