According to the Sun website, Portland police said a man and a woman were rushed to the hospital with gunshot wounds following an altercation involving federal agents. Their conditions were not immediately known. Officers applied a tourniquet to one of the victims before emergency medical crews arrived, police confirmed. FBI will be leading the investigation.
Portland Police Chief Bob Day said authorities are still in the early stages of investigating the incident.
“We understand the heightened emotion and tension many are feeling in the wake of the shooting in Minneapolis, but I am asking the community to remain calm as we work to learn more.”
