Career that spanned TV and film
Muldoon began acting while still in college, appearing in a two-episode arc on the sitcom Who’s the Boss? Soon after graduating in 1991, he secured a three-episode recurring role on Saved by the Bell.
He first gained major recognition as Austin Reed on the long-running daytime soap ‘Days of Our Lives’ (1992–1995; 2011–2012), a role that made him a household name for soap fans across the United States.
He transitioned to primetime television with a memorable run as Richard Hart on Fox’s ‘Melrose Place’ during the mid-1990s.
His final film, crime thriller ‘Dirty Hands’, is set for release later this year.
