Nancy Guthrie Disappearance: The search efforts for Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of NBC's "Today" show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie, have entered day 45, but there is still no clue about her alleged abductors. Amid the investigation, the FBI has started questioning neighbors again, with a prime focus on construction crews working on nearby homes.

Federal investigators are now asking detailed questions about construction crews, signalling that authorities are expanding their search efforts, seeking answers, and diligently retracing the events leading up to the mysterious disappearance of Nancy, who was last seen by family members on January 31, 2026, and was reported missing by relatives on February 1, 2026.

Residents living near Nancy Guthrie’s home say FBI agents have been knocking on doors again over the past 24 hours, according to International Business Times UK. The visits come weeks after investigators first combed the area for clues following her disappearance on February 1.

Nancy’s neighbor shares details of unknown man

As the investigation continues into Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance, one of the neighbors of the 84-year-old claimed that she spotted a man who “didn’t fit” apparently near to her house in the neighborhood weeks before her disappearance.

The neighbor, who is only identified as Aldine, spoke about what she saw on Brian Entin Investigates. “Well, he was in kind of street clothes, not shoes that you'd walk in, and he had a baseball hat really low, and he was kind of hunched over, and he was kind of looking around, and he just didn't fit," she told Entin.

“And he wasn't going terribly quickly like a normal person that's getting exercise; he was kind of going slowly, and when he walked by this street, he, um, he really took a long look at it. I noticed that,” she further stated.

On February 1, 2026, just a few hours after her disappearance, a doorbell video camera at the front door to Nancy’s Tucson house captured footage of a man wearing a ski mask, backpack, gloves, and holstered gun tampering with the camera in the early morning.
