In a video published on YouTube by Kelly on March 11, 2026, she was seen discussing a shocking uncovered Today Show segment from 2013 showing Nancy Guthrie in her bedroom. She was reportedly being interviewed by her daughter Savannah back then.
According to the video description, the video reveals ”the details it could reveal about the items in her bedroom for a potential abductor or someone pretending to send ransom notes.”
"So what’s interesting about that clip is you can see where she slept every night,” she highlighted. “And you can see exactly what this abductor must have walked into. I mean, does anybody’s mother dramatically overhaul their bedroom when they’re in their 80s or 70s? I mean, that was what, 13 years ago?”
Kelly links 2013 footage to alleged ransom notes
The former Megyn Today host further called the 2013 Today clip “interesting” and linked it to alleged ransom notes from February 2026. “We had an alleged kidnapper note early on in the Nancy Guthrie scandal, claiming they knew exactly where she kept her Apple Watch,” Kelly elaborated. “And they had described something inside Nancy’s bedroom… Did those people behind that note see this segment?”
Kelly claims abductors used footage of Nancy’s bedroom
Kelly explained ways that abductors might have made use of this footage of Nancy’s bedroom. “To actually go into the bedroom and show off the most intimate area of her mom’s life may have given somebody some sort of way of manipulating either the FBI and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department by being able to say you knew what it looked like,” she elaborated.
“Or, potentially, giving you a road map for what you would encounter once you go into that bedroom, if you were a bad guy willing to do some homework.”
